โจทย์ของเพลงนี้คือสร้างเพลงป๊อปที่ฟังง่าย ดนตรีสนุก พร้อมด้วยเนื้อหาน่ารักๆ ที่เล่าเรื่อง “อาการของคนแอบชอบ” แบบที่ใครหลายคนน่าจะเข้าใจความรู้สึก เด็กๆ จากทีม Song Writing ร่วมกันคิดเนื้อร้อง คำโดนๆ ที่สุดท้ายกลายมาเป็นชื่อเพลง “Focus” พร้อมหาเพลงแนวป๊อปเป็น Reference เพื่อวางแนวทางของทั้งดนตรีและเนื้อหา ฝั่ง Music Programming ก็ไม่แพ้กัน ช่วยกันออกแบบซาวด์ วาง Beat และโครงสร้างของเพลง โดยใช้คอร์ดจากเพลงต้นแบบที่ทีม Song Writing ส่งมาให้ ก่อนจะเติมความมีชีวิตชีวาด้วยกีตาร์และเบสที่น้องๆ นักดนตรีเล่นกันเอง เพลงนี้ยังมีลูกเล่นการใช้คำภาษาอังกฤษผสมในบางท่อนด้วยนะ ตามสไตล์ป๊อปยุคนี้เลย! ใครฟังแล้วแอบยิ้ม เพราะนึกถึงใครบางคนอยู่ อย่าลืมมาแชร์กันนะ
🎶 “Focus” – A Sweet Pop Tune by Our Song Writing and Music Programming Club Students 🎶
“Focus” is a chill medium-tempo pop song created by talented students from the Song Writing and Music Programming Clubs.
What’s the Goal? To craft an easy-to-listen pop song with a fun, catchy melody and lyrics that capture the cute and relatable feelings of “having a crush”.
The Song Writing team took the lead in brainstorming meaningful and catchy lyrics, eventually coming up with the perfect title: “Focus”. They also selected reference tracks in the pop genre to help shape the song’s melody and lyrical style.
On the Music Programming side, the students designed the sound, laid down the beat, and structured the track using chords inspired by the reference songs. They brought the music to life with guitar and bass tracks performed by student musicians themselves.
A fun twist—this song also features a playful mix of Thai and English lyrics, just like many modern pop songs today!
