Learning Through Debate Competition: Building Critical Thinking Skills
Today, Grade 7 and Grade 8 students had the opportunity to observe and learn from a debate competition by Grade 9 students at Prasartvidhyanonthaburi School.
The debate included thought provoking and challenging debate topics such as:
“Dreams are more important than reality.” “Natural disasters are more dangerous than human-made disasters.”By listening to the debates, students practiced logical reasoning, critical listening, and viewing issues from multiple perspectives. The activity also inspired them to develop their communication skills, analytical thinking, and creative expression.
For the Grade 9 debaters, this activity provided a valuable opportunity to conduct in-depth research, organize ideas systematically, and practice teamwork. They also learned to listen to differing opinions and express their views confidently, based on reason and mutual respect. It was a meaningful learning experience that strengthened both thinking skills and essential life skills for their future growth.

กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ผ่านเวทีโต้วาที สร้างทักษะคิดอย่างมีเหตุผล วันนี้ นักเรียนระดับชั้น มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 และ 2
ได้เข้าร่วมรับฟังและเรียนรู้จากกิจกรรม การแข่งขันโต้วาทีของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3
โรงเรียนประสาทวิทยานนทบุรี 
โดยมีหัวข้อญัตติที่น่าสนใจและท้าทายความคิด ได้แก่
“ความฝันสำคัญกว่าความจริง” “ภัยธรรมชาติร้ายแรงมากกว่าภัยมนุษย์”การรับฟังโต้วาทีในครั้งนี้ ช่วยให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกการใช้เหตุผล
การฟังอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ การมองประเด็นจากหลายมุมมอง
และเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสาร
การคิดวิเคราะห์ และการแสดงความคิดเห็นอย่างสร้างสรรค์
ในมุมของพี่ ๆ นักเรียนชั้น ม.3 ผู้เข้าร่วมโต้วาทีกิจกรรมนี้เป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการฝึกค้นคว้าข้อมูลอย่างรอบด้าน
เรียนรู้การเรียบเรียงความคิดอย่างเป็นระบบ
ฝึกการทำงานเป็นทีม การรับฟังความคิดเห็นที่แตกต่าง
และการแสดงออกอย่างมั่นใจ บนพื้นฐานของเหตุผลและความเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน
ถือเป็นประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ที่ช่วยพัฒนาทั้งทักษะทางความคิด
และทักษะชีวิตที่สำคัญต่อการเติบโตในอนาคต
โรงเรียนประสาทวิทยานนทบุรีมุ่งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียน
ได้เรียนรู้จากเพื่อนร่วมรุ่น เป็นทั้ง “ผู้ฟัง” และ “ผู้แสดงบทบาท”
