Preserving Thai Elegance through the Eight Royal Thai Dresses
Today, students learned about the “Eight Styles of Royal Thai Dresses” —
a remarkable royal initiative of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Her Majesty graciously revived and redesigned traditional Thai attire, making it both elegant and practical while reflecting the timeless beauty and rich cultural heritage of Thailand.
Students admired images of all eight styles, shared their reflections, and discovered that Thai attire is more than fashion — it is a living legacy of Thai wisdom and culture that we should cherish and take pride in.
